The SATURN PRO (JBT01003P) is a freestanding acrylic bathtub, now stocked in 150 cm and 170 cm lengths at ₹49,000 and ₹60,000. It is a reworking of the SATURN we already sell, and the change that matters is the short option: where the original SATURN's compact size is 140 cm, the PRO's is 150 cm. Both lengths are 75 cm wide and 60 cm high, which makes this one of the lower-sided tubs in the range rather than a deep soaking bath. It is for bathrooms where a freestanding tub has to sit in a tight footprint and the room cannot take a tall, bulky tub in the middle of it.
What is actually new here
Very little of the SATURN PRO is unfamiliar, and it is worth saying so plainly. We already list the SATURN (JBT01003CW) at 140 x 75 x 60 cm for ₹48,500 and 170 x 75 x 60 cm for ₹53,500. The PRO carries the same 75 cm width, the same 60 cm height, the same glossy white acrylic and the same centre drain. What changes is the shorter option — 150 cm instead of 140 cm — and the price of the long one.
That 10 cm matters more than it sounds. A 140 cm tub is short enough that most adults sit rather than lie in it; at 150 cm, a person of average height can stretch out with knees slightly bent. If you measured a 140 cm gap, the PRO does not help you. If you have 150 cm and were choosing between a tub you would find cramped and no tub at all, it does.
One clarification, because the sizes are easy to confuse: at 150 cm the PRO is among the shorter freestanding tubs we stock, but it is not the shortest. Both the original SATURN and the ERIS (JBT01006CW) are still listed at 140 cm.
On price, be clear-eyed. At ₹49,000 the 150 cm PRO sits close to the 140 cm SATURN at ₹48,500 and just above the 150 cm ERIS at ₹48,499 — reasonable for the extra length. The features that count
Reinforced acrylic. Acrylic is warmer to sit against than steel or stone and lighter to carry up a staircase. The reinforcement is what keeps the shell from flexing underfoot once it is full.
Glossy white finish. A gloss surface wipes clean more easily than a matt one, though it shows limescale sooner — in hard-water areas, wipe the tub down after use.
Freestanding, external installation. Nothing fixes to the wall. The tub stands on its own legs away from the walls, which is why the drain is at the centre rather than at one end.
Centre drain. The waste drops in the middle of the tub's footprint, so the floor waste has to come up there and not at a wall. This is the detail that most often forces a change of plan on site.

Installing it
A plumber does this work. The waste connection and the floor penetration are not a do-it-yourself job, and getting the drain position wrong means breaking up a finished floor.
Before it arrives, have ready: the floor waste roughed in at the centre of where the tub will stand; a finished, level floor that can carry the tub plus water plus a person; hot and cold supplies brought to wherever the tap will stand; and the tap itself. - Unpack the tub and check the shell for transit damage before anyone starts work. Damage found after installation is far harder to resolve.
- Set the tub roughly in position and mark where the centre drain falls on the floor. Confirm it lines up with the roughed-in waste.
- Fit the supplied legs and level the tub in both directions. A tub out of level will not drain fully and will leave a standing puddle.
- Fit the supplied waste coupling to the tub and connect the waste hose to the floor waste.
- Fill the tub, then drain it completely, watching the joint and the floor beneath for leaks before anything is sealed or boxed in.
- Only once that test is clear, make the final connections and fit the floor-mounted filler.
- Fill and drain once more with the tap in place, and check around the base of the filler.
Leave accessible for servicing. Do not tile over or box in the waste connection under the tub. The coupling and hose are the parts that eventually need attention, and the only way to reach them is from underneath. If the tub sits close to a wall, leave room to get a hand and a spanner behind it.
The SATURN PRO is supplied with fixing legs, a waste coupling and a waste hose. No tap is included, and a freestanding tub needs a floor-mounted filler, so add that to the budget before you compare prices.
Who should not buy this tub
Anyone with only 140 cm to work with. The PRO's short option is 150 cm. If your measured opening is 140 cm, the original SATURN or the ERIS in 140 cm are the tubs to look at.
Anyone buying a bath for long, deep soaks. Sixty centimetres of overall height is modest; the MOON at 78 cm and the LUNAR at 72 cm give considerably more depth.
Anyone who wants jets. This is a plain tub with no hydro massage, no pump and no control panel. The whirlpool and jacuzzi tubs are a separate part of the catalogue.
Anyone shopping mainly on price for a 170 cm tub. Four other 170 cm freestanding tubs in this catalogue cost less than ₹60,000.
Anyone whose waste outlet is fixed at one end of the tub. The centre drain is not optional. If the drainage cannot be moved to the middle, this tub will not fit your bathroom without building work.
