Collection: Bath Accessories

Bath accessories are the small wall-mounted fittings that decide how a bathroom works day to day: where a wet towel goes, whether the soap sits in a puddle, whether the paper roll is within reach of the WC. Jabon Bagno stocks them as individual pieces and as matched sets, so a bathroom can be fitted out in one finish rather than assembled from whatever happened to be on the shelf.

What the range covers

  • Towel rings, rails, rods and racks - single rings beside a basin, straight rails and rods for a full-size bath towel, and multi-bar racks for a shared bathroom, some with folding hooks.
  • Soap dishes and soap dispensers - wall-mounted dishes for a bar of soap, and push-pump dispensers for liquid.
  • Tumbler holders - for a brush and paste tumbler at the basin.
  • Paper holders - plain holders, holders with a small shelf on top, and a model with a wireless charging pad.
  • Robe hooks and coat hooks - single hooks and multi-hook rails, plain or figurative.
  • Bathroom shelves - straight wall shelves and corner shelves.
  • Accessory sets - matching five and six piece sets, for fitting out a bathroom in one go.

Materials and finishes

Most pieces are made in SS 304 stainless steel or solid lead-free brass. SS 304 holds up well against rust in humid and coastal bathrooms and is usually the more economical of the two. Solid brass is noticeably heavier in the hand and takes a deeper plated finish, which is why the gold and rose gold pieces tend to be brass rather than steel. Finishes across the range include chrome, matt black, white, gold and rose gold. Chrome is the most forgiving to clean. Matt black shows limescale and water spotting sooner and is better for a bathroom where fittings get wiped dry rather than left to dry on their own.

Drilled or self-adhesive

Most accessories here are wall-mounted with screws and plugs, which is the stronger fixing and the right choice on tile. A smaller self-adhesive range sticks to tile and glass with no drilling, which matters in a rented flat or on a finished wall you would rather not cut into. A self-adhesive mount carries less weight than a drilled one, so it suits rings, light shelves and holders rather than a rack with two wet bath towels on it.

Choosing accessories that match

Two things are worth settling before ordering. The first is finish: chrome, matt black and gold do not read as the same colour across different material bases, so a chrome steel ring next to a chrome brass rail can look slightly off. Buying the pieces for one bathroom in one material and one finish, or taking a matched set, avoids that. The second is position. A towel rail needs clear wall at roughly arm height, a paper holder needs to sit within reach while seated, and a robe hook on the back of a door needs clearance for the door to close. Marking out the positions on the wall with tape before drilling takes a few minutes and saves a filled hole later.
