Model JPDS1009 is a square-plan pedestal basin measuring 420 x 420 mm with an overall height of 860 mm. It is cast in artificial stone and resin rather than fired ceramic - the manufacturer rates the body unbreakable - and the beige colour runs through a matt surface rather than sitting on top as a glaze.

This version is supplied with no tap hole, which is what you need if the tap is coming off the wall or off a floor-standing column. The companion model JPDS1010 is the same basin pre-drilled for a deck-mounted tap. Taps, waste coupling, PVC hose and angle valve are sold separately.

Key features

• Unbreakable artificial stone and resin - a cast composite body the manufacturer rates as unbreakable, unlike fired ceramic.
• 420 x 420 x 860 mm overall - bowl 420 mm wide by 420 mm deep, standing 860 mm tall including the pedestal.
• Beige matt surface - colour carried through a matt finish rather than applied as a surface glaze.
• Supplied without a tap hole - matched to wall- or floor-mounted taps; the sibling model covers the other arrangement.
• Centre drain location - waste outlet sits centrally, with pipework hidden inside the pedestal.
• Certified to CE, cUPC, ISO 9001 and RoHS - manufactured against recognised international standards.
