The flexible length of pipe that carries water from a basin waste coupling down to the drain point in the floor or wall. Because it bends, it absorbs the offset between where the basin outlet sits and where the drain was cast, which is the usual problem when a new basin does not line up with existing plumbing.

It is the least expensive item in the bathroom drainage range and is normally bought alongside a waste coupling rather than on its own.

Key features

• Flexible body that bends to reach a drain point which does not line up with the basin outlet.
• Smooth inner surface that lets waste water run away without catching.
• Leak-resistant connection at the coupling and drain ends.
• Tool-light installation that does not require the drain position to be altered.
• Suited to wash basin waste in homes, hotels and commercial bathrooms.

Specifications

Measure the distance from your basin waste outlet to the drain point before ordering so the pipe reaches without being stretched straight.
