The FOLARIZ tall basin tap, model FO01004, is cast from solid lead-free brass ingot and finished in chrome over three protective layers - copper, then 10 micron nickel, then 0.3 micron chromium. It is cleaned with a soft cloth; harsh detergents will attack the finish.

Flow is controlled by a quarter-turn lever running on a thick ceramic disc cartridge rated beyond 500,000 operations, and the outlet carries a German Foam Flow aerator in food-grade plastic that aerates the stream, cuts splash noise and saves around 20% of the water a plain outlet would use.

Key features

• Solid lead-free brass body - cast from solid brass ingot rather than a lighter alloy, and specified lead-free.
• Three-layer chrome finish - copper, 10 micron nickel and 0.3 micron chromium over the brass.
• Quarter-turn ceramic cartridge - thick ceramic discs tested past 500,000 operations, smooth under high line pressure.
• German Foam Flow aerator - food-grade plastic aerator that softens the stream and reduces flow noise.
• 20% more water saved - the high-efficiency aerator cuts consumption without losing the feel of the flow.
• Up to 10 years service warranty - backed by Jabon's service warranty once the product is registered.
