Model SC01016 is the Scela complete-set single lever sink mixer: the tap body is cast from solid lead-free brass ingot and plated in a three-layer chrome finish — copper, 10 micron nickel and 0.3 micron chromium — for a glossy, highly reflective surface.

The lever works on a quarter-turn action over a premium ceramic cartridge, and the thicker ceramic disc is what lets it move smoothly while standing up to high water pressure. At the outlet, a German Foam Flow aerator in food-grade plastic adds air to the stream, filters impurities, cuts the noise of running water and saves around 20 per cent of the flow.

Key features

• Lead-free brass body – cast from solid brass ingot rather than a lighter alloy.
• Three-layer chrome plating – copper, 10 micron nickel and 0.3 micron chromium, finished glossy and highly reflective.
• Quarter-turn ceramic cartridge – tested for more than 500,000 operations, with a thicker ceramic disc for high-pressure use.
• German Foam Flow aerator – food-grade plastic, designed to work at extreme temperatures, and conserves about 20 per cent more water.
• Complete set – SC01016 is supplied as a full set rather than a bare tap body.
• Simple maintenance – wipe with a soft cloth; avoid harsh cleaning detergents.
